We collect and analyse data from clients and client industries to help clients understand results and exploit trends. This business intelligence supports better decision making.
Business Development
Alexander Arpino is the Managing Director of Veterinary Insights Ltd and general manager and director, DBM SARL.
His past experience with pharmaceutical companies (sales and marketing functions) and IMS (market research) has given him an expert knowledge of the industry, and expertise in using surveys and data to help understand trends and results. His work involves interpreting and presenting Vision and Viewer results for clients.
Alex is also a member of MDHub and VetXML sharing best practice and shaping standards.
Away from work, Alex is a self confessed bad-golfer who dismisses his past inglorious days on the course with the certainty that things can, and will, get better! Nuts about fine wine, he made the best of his 4 years of living in France by engrossing himself in the study (and some tasting, it has to be said) of France’s best known exports.
Mike Phillipps, joined to develop the UK market for Veterinary Insights. Previously with companies such as Disney, Lever Brothers and most recently Director of Sales at Hills Pet Nutrition UK, his experience of working with veterinary practices and his in-depth knowledge of the veterinary industry suits him perfectly when it comes to working with pharmaceutical companies and practices on the Qualivet and Viewer programmes.
A keen sportsman (Rugby, Tennis, Cycling), when he’s not ferrying his 3 children from place to place Mike has been known to play a spot of golf. Too much golf, as far as his friends are concerned, especially as testified by his recent “hole in one”!!
Technical
Alain Le Floc’h, Head of Production, has been with Insights since the beginning, Alain manages and oversees all of the data processing aspects of our work with our clients.
Away from work, he is an avid snowboarder (skis are best left to those less serious about winter sports!) and is a passionate follower of French football.
Philippe Prost, Head of Development, joined Insights in 2002 and is the chief developer as well as being responsible for the data processing work of several of our clients.
A mild mannered man with a highly developed intellectual approach to problem solving, this contrasts with his chosen sport – French kick Boxing!
Lisa Legg, Software Developer is a VB.NET Analyst Programmer in the UK office, having previously worked for 8 years writing software for the Financial Services Industry.
Being a mum of 3 (including twins) makes Lisa adept at multi-tasking, dealing with conflicting demands, getting her hands dirty and managing some rather large tantrums.In her spare time, she enjoys socializing with friends, dancing and puzzles (other than the missing sock one).
Sara Ellis,
Software Developer, joined in 2009, having previously worked for 11 years as an analyst/developer in the financial industry. Whilst in her previous role she was actively involved in planning, development, implementation and training of large scale developments.
When Sara is not working she enjoys spending time with her family (husband, son and twin girls). One of her new passions is home grown food – veggie patch, home reared pork, lamb and poultry. On the rare occasion she has time to herself she treats herself to her favourite three things: catching up with her friends, eating good food and drinking lovely wine.
Hala Nemer, 
Software Developer,is a software developer, also born in the Lebanon, her speciality is linking systems. She works on our CRM and database applications, and is the lead developer on our Vision programme.
Hala spent two years working at our Versailles offices, and this summer moved back to her home town in the Lebanon, where she continues to work for us in a full time capacity. She remarks that she misses France for the lack of noise, and the relative coolness of the climate compared to the Lebanon, but is loving being back with her family!
Eric Chardon joined in May 2011 having come from a Customer Service/Workforce management role within the Airline industry.
In his spare time Eric is a windsurfing fanatic and with whatever little is left enjoys mountain biking and just being out doors.
Kim Wachnianin is currently studying Business (Finance) at Sussex University and is doing an internship with us.
Rob Guyatt is joining in July 2011 with 15 years programming experience including VB .net asp and databases.
