In turn, that increases the likelihood of customers buying from you. Easy identification of profitable customers. Selling more to those customers and working with other customers so they become profitable will lead to increased revenue and increased profit.
  • Vision CRM supports targeted marking, which reduces marketing costs through reducing unnecessary activity and wasted materials.

Vision Sales Information

Vision CRM from Insights is a software product that is customised for every client. The basic system stays the same, but then we tailor it to meet your precise needs. And once you’re a customer we don’t leave you to handle change alone. When your requirements change we’ll help change your systems to match.

Tailored to Meet Customer Needs

Many CRM systems can show you that orders for a particular product have declined and with a little time available many systems will also allow you to run a report to show which customers have ordered that product recently. What you really need to know though, is whether a customer ordering less is normal or part of a trend that means you need to take action. Has the customer swapped to a different supplier? Is the product no longer suitable? Is the decline part of a normal ordering pattern for that customer? Of course, good sales people will know the answers to those questions, but will they spot declines before it’s too late?

When Vision is implemented in your organisation we help you work out the key questions that will deliver the right information to you. Then you can make the right decision – true business intelligence.

You may decide a sales visit is required and Vision also allows the results of the sales call to be updated in the field – no more waiting for results!

You can review three of the many Vision screens here, showing how Insights CRM tools allow the sales force to see results directly on their laptops as well as in their office:

Sales Data Analysis

Insights takes data and turns it into information for the veterinary industry. Whether you’re a vet, work in a vet practice or you’re a supplier to the veterinary industry we have information that can help you perform better in your job.

Performance can be measured. It’s about efficiency and effectiveness, doing the right things well and in business that includes selling to satisfied customers. Sales data analysis is part of ensuring that your customers stay satisfied as you sell the right products and services to them. But if you don’t analyse your sales data, then you’re missing opportunities to not only sell more, but also to satisfy your customers more.

Insights

Veterinary Insights was formed in 1996 to help the animal health and veterinary industry use sales data properly. We have data analysis skills and experience in your industry and we’ve found that sales people often don’t know how to analyse data well (typically they have very different skills). Yet good analysis of sales data can lead to better targeted marketing and sales activity, which can lead to more sales and improved performance.

Working in the Animal Healthcare Industry

Working together we can help analyse data and produce information – because using sales data in the right way can lead to true business intelligence.

How do you define what is good or bad (particularly in terms of sales territory)? And once defined how do you persuade people that these are the ‘right’ numbers? Many people are busy creating their own numbers and measuring performance against them – often because they don’t agree with or don’t understand the ‘right’ numbers being used. That’s bad for performance.

Whether you use Vision – our CRM solution – or whether you just need help to analyse and interpret your sales data, Insights can help.

With clients ranging from SME (a few employees) to global (many thousand employees) we can help you understand what’s really happening outside your organisation in the sales field.

BI in the Animal Healthcare Industry

Insights offer unqiue business intelligence for the animal healthcare industry. But what is Business intelligence (BI)? A term that’s grown in use in recent years, but the principles have applied to successful business forever.

BI for Decision Making

The aim of business intelligence is to support decision making. Of course there’s an emotional element to making every decisions but using the right intelligence (data which has been turned in to information) can help people make better decisions. BI is gained through analysing an organisation’s own data, sometimes by analysing competitor data and if possible researching the wider environment the business operates in and gaining data from there too. All this data is then analysed so that it becomes useful information.

BI can then be used to inform decisions being made. For example:

  • how much of a product should be produced
  • how accurate sales forecasting has been

But perhaps more interestingly, BI can help to answer questions such as:

  • if production is switched from one product to another – would revenue increase
  • what are products actually being used for
  • is our market share growing at the same rate as the market

Bi can also be used to spot unusual behaviour and so perhaps exploit an opportunity.

Animal Healthcare Industry BI

If you work in the animal healthcare industry, where can you find the data you need for business intelligence? Better still ask yourself how useful it would be if you could have true business intelligence delivered to you every month. That’s what Vision from Insights can deliver.

If you work in the animal healthcare industry (either as a vet, in a veterinary practice, or you’re a supplier) then sign up for VI Data, the unique industry data publication from Insights, today. It’s the first step to gaining business intelligence and and competitive edge.
